Also you know not all Arabs have the same religious beliefs. Not all Islamic people are extremists. Just like not all Christian people killed Jewish people in WW2. Not Everyone with a 'dot' on their head is an Arab and not all islamic people look like Arabs. Does Louis Farikan look Arab? I disagree with every word that man says but I also know he doesn't speak for every beliver of Islam.

It is also times like this where the KKK and other such groups do all they can to whip up racist opnion and then they recruit. Don't buy into it and don't help them out.

A lot of the citizens of middle easter decent are as upset if not more than us because of this problem! I have even seen some people from the mid east on TV looking for their loved 1's lost in the WTC!

Humor is the best way for some to remove the tension. We are all helpless in the situation and truly need some way to vent.

I think humor is the best way to vent. In my family we often tell jokes at funerals. That is not out of disrespect for the dead but to keep from crying.

I see that some are pushing the envelope but the large scale of this attack has pushed our emotions past anything that we are used to.

I don't think I know anyone that was killed Tuesday but, jokes or not, I hurt for each one of them all day.

The CEO of the company worked there, and the only reason he wasn't there on Tuesday was because he took his 5yr old to his first day of kindergarten! They lost 70% of their employees in New York, and almost 1/2 total workers! The CEO of the company worked there, and the only reason he wasn't there on Tuesday was because he took his 5yr old to his first day of kindergarten! He cried because they lost 50% of their TOTAL employees, and the only reason he wasn't there was because of his child! They are the top bond traders in the world! They lost 700 employees, and he knew all of them! Does he find anything to joke about? I knew(even though I knew them very little) 3 that are still lost from the building. I dont find ANYTHING joking or funny about it! 4700 plus still missing, if anyone joked about your loved 1's being missed in a tragedy and dont know where they are, would you enjoy their jokes about the situation???? No jokes about this situation are wanted or needed! Jokes are a way to deal with tragedy, but dont joke about others loss!!! Balljoints

I feel awful for all those people affected directly or indirectly by this attack. Its ok to joke about arabs, but not innocent victims. How many arabs does it take to catch a cruise missile? If anyone joked about people that died, they would probably be lynched!, but some will joke about the situation for either a buck or for their 15 min of fame If anyone can find jokes or fun from this situation they are sad. No one with any kind of a heart is going to joke about the victims of all this, but everyone deals with shit in their own way. Some people cry, some get mad as hell, some need humor to keep from losing it. Some need all of the above. The arab jokes are not in any way intended to diminish what has happened..... only to deal with it. I really don't want to say this, but if you are having trouble dealing, GFY is maybe not the best place to hang right now. And I mean that in a NICE way.

I just think that anyone that had loved 1's or friends involved in the terrorist situation wouldn't make jokes about it. I can laugh at funny things, but anone that wants to box those from the middle east as "arabs" and terrorists is way off. And anyone that wants to make jokes about the WTC Pentagon, and Pensylvania loss is not funny! That is what I was saying! My thoughts are with all family's that have experienced any loss Balljoints

I'm sure there are many many good Arab people. I will not, however, condemn anyone making "racist" statements during this time in America. Emotions are too high to make the same rash judgements about the jokesters as they are making about Arabs in general.
