Question about memebers area galleries
Should thumbnail pictures open to another html page or would it be more convenient to open them up just as the image.
I see pros and cons for both. Opening to an html page will allow for "Next" and "Previous" buttons to cycle through the pics without going back to the thumbs. Opening straight to the image will allow automatic resizing in the browser window cause my pics are big and in high quality. This may be helpful for surfers with lower resolutions. Again, this question DOES NOT relate to TGPs. This is for members area galleries. |

I am. The CMS allows the thumbs to open up to either an html page with the image embedded or straight to the image.

If your pictures are so big that loading in a page will cause excessive scrolling then just ink to the image.
Otherwise resize your images to the standard 800X600 format and load them in a page. I agree with not wanting members having to hit the back button in their browser try to keep them on your "page". |

Open them on a HTML page that way you can also include a navigation menu so that your members can move around the site more easily should they not want to look at any more image sets
