Has the Dollars crash effectively increased sales?

My point being, everyone has noticed that the dollar is worth less and less pretty much daily now, i'm not entirely sure how this has affected spending power inside the U.S, that $5 to buy a McD's is now $6 <example> but when it comes to purchasing smut do you believe users feel less compelled to make an impulse purchase to a $30 AVS, purely because they know it costs them more and they can go without it?

Now I know alot of people have been claiming sales have gone through the roof for them, and year after year they increase sales, but has anyone taken the dollars value into consideration when checking ratio?

On the other side of the globe.. people in Europe paying for sites, has anyone seen a drastic increase in sales abroad? I remember when 1GBP would buy $1.4 ... as apposed to $1.85 if sales from inside the U.S have dropped at all, surely it would make sense to target European users just a bit more.

Anyway.. business post I'll give it a few minutes before it drops off the first page, if anyone bothers to read it i'd appriciate your opinion on whether you believe sales have increased/decreased and if possible whether your sales abroad have increased significantly over the past weeks/months as the dollar has pretty much died.

Oh, and pardon the poor use of grammar in the title, it's 6:30am.

Oh come on someone must have an opinion that doesn't involve a posting of some picture or smiley.

Another four years of Bush and the Canadians will probably be laughing at the value of the U.S. dollar.

Bring back Clinton!

for non-US people buying in USD, I would say sales have increased. At a lower price there should be more demand for a product.

Not enough to offset currency though.

12-18 more months more of this relative Dollar weakness and inflation in the US will accelerate due to oil imports and imports of goods from the EU.

Next thing you know is the fed will increase the interest rates some more to combat inflation.

Next thing you know is economy and spending habits in domestic US will slow down cause money becomes more expensive.

IMO a weak Dollar only benefits the US economy short term, not long term.

Thats what the economists were saying in America then the Neocon Rednecks told them to shut the fuck up and duct tape there mouths shut.

People will be making the same amount of money and everything will get more expensive. Thus more money will be spent just like the Bushies are saying but of course they are not saying the same dollar spent now has far less value than a dollar spent in 1998-2000!

But people are so fucking retarded them reports that state spending is up is supposdly a good thing!!!

Also note that Bush and his friends are not investing with the American dollar, they are investing in oil.

The dollar being worth less and less, or spending power..
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were going for spending power. The majority of the public wont realise it, [excuse the extreme generalisation I am about to make] some Yanqui's have their head so far up Bush's ass they do not realise the short term and long term effects of the dollar being worth shit.

When I said what use to cost you $5, will now cost you $6, was also a exaguration[sp] although it hasn't affected all Americans directly just yet people who trade currency, and play the market will definately of noticed this.

The way GWB is going the dollar will be worse than the CAD soon enough.
