PLAYERS BALL INVITATIONS - Not to worry yet if you're not invited YET - READ

OK, we've issued out about 1600 or so "Players Codes" which get sent out from our sponsors.

It takes you to http://www.theplayersball.com/register/

Once you have this code, you'll select the sponsor who invited you and enter your info and Player Code, then you're registered.

Our sponsors have been slow to invite people, I'm not sure why they're taking so long. Only 100 people are registered out of 1600 codes issued.

What does this mean exactly? It means, don't be offended that you're not invited yet, most sponsors haven't sent any out.

Reminder, the first 1000 registered get Players Cards, a plastic card with your name on it that give you perks at the party, early admission, etc.

Now is the time to start hitting up our sponsors for these Players Codes so you can not only get invited, you'll get a Players Card.

http://www.theplayersball.com has all current sponsors listed.

We still have more room for sponsors if you're interested, with a reserved table , passes, banner, etc.

Here's a little video I made last night to get you in the Players Ball mood.

http://www.theplayersball.com/newpromo.wmv

chuuch!

Bummer, none of the sponsors I send traffic to are sponsoring the event. Maybe I'll have to change that!

hey playa, step yo game up and change that!

Or become a sponsor!

Seriously though, I really do appreciate the overwhelming amount of support this industry has given the Players Ball over the years, especially this year.

I've never seen the Players Ball reach these kind of heights as far as promotion and the sponsorship line up.

First, you dream up a party, then you hope to raise money from the credible great webmaster services. Then all I have to do is make it happen, which is the easy part. The party takes on a life of its own every time. With pornstars, amateur stars, celebs, rappers, big players in the biz, this event has a life of its own.

I can't take the credit for it, the sponsors need to take the credit and lime light. I just organize it. Without sponsors, it would never happen, and I know that's the #1 thing that MUST happen.

On that note, only smaller packages are left then we're completely sold out.

I gotta give some credit to Don Magic Juan.

He really gets my mind set right to step up and go large. He's like a pimp philosopher.

Been talking with him alot, we're like family.

Now I can see why Snoop Dogg and P Diddy, and other rappers pay for his time as a spiritual advisor. he's the best.

Hope to see you at the party.

I personally think that people are waiting to hit up sponsors and sponsors are waiting to issue passes until the last second.

So if you're not registered yet, please hit up a sponsor and ask them if they will throw you a freakin' bone!

The philosophy is working.

Don Juan is wise. After reading more about em and seeing some of what he has to say that dude has a good grip on things.

Fascinating guy, truly fascinating.

I had an enlightening conversation with The Bishop this morning
I was talking to him on the phone and he was "enlightening" a Blunt-

But seriously though guys - I know the support means a lot to D$.
You cannot imagine the time and energy my brother puts into this party.
Most people can't even fathom it. Most people belive that D profits heavily from these events which is and has NEVER been the case.

The ideas for the Players Ball have evolved over the years by D along with other people who were daydreaming back at the Monte Carlo hotel . we all wanted to throw a unique event that would attract only the High Roller sof the biz
BUT-

D took it to another level. D and I have always shared the love of good music. Working in the music biz prior to getting into adult D felt it would be a dream to throw parties he would like to see:

incororating proven talent we had booked back in the day, with the" hip factor" of the porn biz, D's knowledge of knowing every major person in the business by working with Web Side Story -

throw in a demographic of webmasters mostly male ages 19-26 yrs in age- and voila!

You get the Digital Undergrounds of the world, the Too Short's of the world as well as SNOOP DOGG, Naughty By Nature, Kid Capri, Fishbone, P Funk, Slick Rick, Long Beach Dub ( who by the way is the band that does the new theme to the TV SHOW "Joey")

In all the parties, my bro has never profited any money- his expenses are always high and he constantly over achieves when setting out on his vision.

As his brother I have argued and quabbled with him about going over board at times- and told him he could make a buck or two if he trimmed in certain areas- and why not? He should. It takes up a lot of time and energy of his.

He simply wants to throw great webmaster parties- and events that make the OLD SCHOOL true webmasters come out to play.

This business has always been fun and has always made people some good coin in the process. the Players Ball is a unique event that blends hip hop, both old school and new school with the biggest "players" in online porn as well as the video side.

Celebrities from across the globe share stories with one another about attending each Ball. Snoop Dogg and Don Magic Juan watch the Player's Ball video on their tour bus travelling from town to town.

Ricky Williams smoked out with us in New Orleans while he was a Saint. Asthon Kutcher was dragged backstage from the craps tables on the Venetian floor by Shock G to come and party-
My boy, "Sweet Pussy Frank" brought Tony Hawk to come and soul grind with Doug E Fresh and us.

Joey Fatone and AJ from the Backstreet Boys were partying it up in our VIP suite last year with B Legit and Ron Jeremy.

It's considered Ron Jeremy's favorite party to attend every year- Jenna Jameson has been quoted on her website's diary as saying it was her favorite party ever , and she loved it when she got on stage to dance with Snoop.

So do I think D is still crazy for getting 1940's Rolls Royces for transportation? Or mobile Disco buses to transport our partying people?

Or for having Cristal and Dom in the VIP booths as well as for the performers vs. Moet and Chandon?

Do I think D is crazy for paying 5-$10,000 on backline for the musicians to play with live?

Do I think D is crazy to pay a production team of many people?

The answer is NOT ANY MORE.

After hearing from famous rappers and celebrities about how legendary these "orgy like" parties have become, it's almost larger than life.
After hearing from their agents how much their clients want to play the Players Ball....

After seeing the Player's Ball written about in the Wall Street Journal and how envious Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos was to be us for a NIGHT.

And After seeing how much press this event gets on VH-1 and Playboy as well as HBO now....

The answer is NO
My bro may not make any money on the Vegas show, but his "Brand" is certainly worth a lot more than many people think.

Now I have to convince him to GO AND MAKE SOME MONEY WITH THIS- and we need to do a concert film/ documenatry Like Jay Z

I have a feeling he is on his way with a Snoop Dogg DVD that can possibly hit stores soon!

Thanks to all the peeps who support this- it's a herculean task to pull off a party this size, and I am very proud of my "lil Bro".

This years party should be the JAM OF THE YEAR.

KBizzle, you might be the best hype man next to Flavor Flav!

It funny for me to see KB admit I was right for getting multiple artists and investing the sponsors money back into the event to achieve the best events I can possibly pull off.

I used to get offended when people assumed I made money from it, they viewed it as a big event that certainly would make a big profit. But that was never the case. I felt that I gave myself a "free" sponsorship for my efforts and used others money to pull it off.

I also believe one day I'll make my money with licensing the content through multiple channels of distribution. One day.

Seriously, KB is very important in the process because I like to bounce ideas for artists off him and my other close friends in the biz. And every year KB says, "put that money in your pocket, its over kill, you have a dope line up already." And every year I show him up when I go that extra mile in getting ANOTHER big name added to the line up. I don't think I've ever thrown a Players Ball in Vegas with less then 3 major artists performing and other surprise celebrity guests. I've even had 4 major concerts in a Players Ball before, like in 2002, old school night.

So in my own Players Ball tradition I've created for over the last 6 years, 2 Balls per year, I will go over board with the talent again so our industry can do business with the cream of the crop in an environment I feel is suitable for big business dealings, a slamming event!

And a very heart felt thank you to Ron Levi for his huge contributions over the years, no one has contributed more money towards our Players Ball talent roster then him.

Preach!

Thanks KB for an awesome post.

And one last dick to suck, maybe 2.

Evan from XPays has been HUGE in these Players Balls by giving us some of the most incredbile DJ sets and great input as well.

I'd go one about him, but he says I make long posts.

And J$tyle$ has been instrumental in helping us make choices on talent and holding the mic as a Ju Tang Clan member.

Though he gets me in trouble with sponsors when he spams others names on the mic. I reserve that right for paid sponsors, J$tyle$ thinks it's cute when he does it. I had to give NATS the big suite because of it.

All good, much love to J$tyle$!

I gave myself less codes the most sponsors. So for real, they can't hit me up anymore like in the past. Just friends and family get passes from me this round. And my DJ.

So for those still reading that think I'm super tight with them and I'll just flip them passes in Vegas when I see them.

I SUPPORTED YOU ALL FOR YEARS WITH FREE PASSES, TIME TO CHIP IN AND BUY A PACKAGE!!!!

We can use the support and it's not right to expect me to dip into the pass pool and screw sponsors who spent a ton of money for a limited number of passes.

Nothing personal.

This isn't directed at you, but,

I'd rather be a long poster then a thread bumper of old stale threads with nothing but smiley faces and "thanks" over 24 hours after their last post.

So, I proudly can be called a long poster, with pride.
