I had an enlightening conversation with The Bishop this morning
I was talking to him on the phone and he was "enlightening" a Blunt-

But seriously though guys - I know the support means a lot to D$.
You cannot imagine the time and energy my brother puts into this party.
Most people can't even fathom it. Most people belive that D profits heavily from these events which is and has NEVER been the case.

The ideas for the Players Ball have evolved over the years by D along with other people who were daydreaming back at the Monte Carlo hotel . we all wanted to throw a unique event that would attract only the High Roller sof the biz
BUT-

D took it to another level. D and I have always shared the love of good music. Working in the music biz prior to getting into adult D felt it would be a dream to throw parties he would like to see:

incororating proven talent we had booked back in the day, with the" hip factor" of the porn biz, D's knowledge of knowing every major person in the business by working with Web Side Story -

throw in a demographic of webmasters mostly male ages 19-26 yrs in age- and voila!

You get the Digital Undergrounds of the world, the Too Short's of the world as well as SNOOP DOGG, Naughty By Nature, Kid Capri, Fishbone, P Funk, Slick Rick, Long Beach Dub ( who by the way is the band that does the new theme to the TV SHOW "Joey")

In all the parties, my bro has never profited any money- his expenses are always high and he constantly over achieves when setting out on his vision.

As his brother I have argued and quabbled with him about going over board at times- and told him he could make a buck or two if he trimmed in certain areas- and why not? He should. It takes up a lot of time and energy of his.

He simply wants to throw great webmaster parties- and events that make the OLD SCHOOL true webmasters come out to play.

This business has always been fun and has always made people some good coin in the process. the Players Ball is a unique event that blends hip hop, both old school and new school with the biggest "players" in online porn as well as the video side.

Celebrities from across the globe share stories with one another about attending each Ball. Snoop Dogg and Don Magic Juan watch the Player's Ball video on their tour bus travelling from town to town.

Ricky Williams smoked out with us in New Orleans while he was a Saint. Asthon Kutcher was dragged backstage from the craps tables on the Venetian floor by Shock G to come and party-
My boy, "Sweet Pussy Frank" brought Tony Hawk to come and soul grind with Doug E Fresh and us.

Joey Fatone and AJ from the Backstreet Boys were partying it up in our VIP suite last year with B Legit and Ron Jeremy.

It's considered Ron Jeremy's favorite party to attend every year- Jenna Jameson has been quoted on her website's diary as saying it was her favorite party ever , and she loved it when she got on stage to dance with Snoop.

So do I think D is still crazy for getting 1940's Rolls Royces for transportation? Or mobile Disco buses to transport our partying people?

Or for having Cristal and Dom in the VIP booths as well as for the performers vs. Moet and Chandon?

Do I think D is crazy for paying 5-$10,000 on backline for the musicians to play with live?

Do I think D is crazy to pay a production team of many people?

The answer is NOT ANY MORE.

After hearing from famous rappers and celebrities about how legendary these "orgy like" parties have become, it's almost larger than life.
After hearing from their agents how much their clients want to play the Players Ball....

After seeing the Player's Ball written about in the Wall Street Journal and how envious Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos was to be us for a NIGHT.

And After seeing how much press this event gets on VH-1 and Playboy as well as HBO now....

The answer is NO
My bro may not make any money on the Vegas show, but his "Brand" is certainly worth a lot more than many people think.

Now I have to convince him to GO AND MAKE SOME MONEY WITH THIS- and we need to do a concert film/ documenatry Like Jay Z

I have a feeling he is on his way with a Snoop Dogg DVD that can possibly hit stores soon!

Thanks to all the peeps who support this- it's a herculean task to pull off a party this size, and I am very proud of my "lil Bro".

This years party should be the JAM OF THE YEAR.
