				 | sometimes people who have lactose intolerance cannot stand whey protein either. It happens often. Why do you ask?

				 | the other protein in milk is casein protein, you could have a reaction to that but I'm not sure how it relates to lactose intolerance. Strange that your doc didn't know what to do... I'd ask around on this bodybuilding forum: http://forums.bulknutrition.com/

				 | i am lactose intollerante and i have no problems with whey, drink 3 whey/oatmeal shakes a day. I suggest gettin your protein from other sources, a chicken breast has somewhere around 40g or protein dependin on size, i also eat allot of eggs, around 18 per day and it only costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.50 for 18 eggs so thats also a good alternative. Tuna also another good source, i would stick to tuna/chicken they are probably the leanest forms of protein.

				 | I bodybuild and am lactose intolerant. I use "Pro-Score 100 pure whey" which happens to be lactose free. Mixed with "Lactade" lactose free milk. Works great for me!
