Since like 1 week I surf with SP2 and I must admit it, it makes surfing far more convenient, since it is far better than Google Pop Up blocker.

But what is good for me as a surfer, isn''t necessarly good for webmasters. If there is a working code that beats SP2, then why aren't the biggest programs using it YET? With more and more people downloading SP2, I am sure they are already losing significant revenue....

Once again, to us it may seem irrelevant if they start using it now or in 3 months, but to them, it probably makes a $erious difference.

Laziness. Either haven't bothered to get the code or have it and haven't set it up yet.

I just got the code last night. Going to get it added to our tours today. Not that it matters...cause we're the only ones using them. |

Yeah seen a couple of the bigger sponsors using the new sp2 code. We'll be putting it in place on our 20 sites for Wildcash probably tomorrow. Just got it before the weekend. Works a treat

Treating your customers as "the enemy" will be bad for business in the end. People who try to get popups to break through anti-popup software are no better than the people with auto-installing dialers on their home pages

Besides, using in-page dhtml pop-overs works much better ![]()

And the person visiting your site and then leaving is no longer your customer they are nothing to you anymore as they have LEFT! If they have hit the close or back button then they don't want what you have to offer & won't be back, thats the idea behind EXITS! You offer them something that they do want, if it didn't work exits wouldn't be used, it does work and makes it possible for affilates to earn $35 per trial instead of $25. |

I saw some beasty site that had it a couple of weeks ago, I probably shouldn't post the link here but I do it anyway

http://www.farmsexgirls.com/ Maybe you can copy the code from them. The exit console came up for me with both google and sp2 popup blocker in IE |

As a consumer, I will NEVER do business with anyone who suggests they will use any trick in the book to get my money. That goes for spam and circle-jerk popup sites. The market has spoken - they want a choice when it comes to automatically generated windows. Tools have been provided for the market to facilitate their choice. If they want popups THEY CAN enable them. To my thinking, anyone who blatently tries to hack their way into their customer's face is of the same breed of wreckless dinks who used every trick in the book to rebill their clients - you wonder why adult processing is considered high risk? You made it so. Now those who offer traditional customer value and support services to prospects and paid members have to pay dearly for the trail of crap the quick-money hacks have left behind (and apparently continue reinvent ways to do so). |

The internet is not free. It costs money to keep a site online. The best way to make money to support your site is thru popups and exits. While the surfer may *like* to not see popups, he'd also like to not see commercials on TV. Well, just as free TV would go away without commercials, a good bit of the internet will go away without popup ads and exits. You see, in the end, the surfer doesn't win by blocking popups, they're just dumb enough to *think* they do.

My adult work and sites have been featured by Playboy, UK television, and in adult media worldwide. I pay close to $6/gig for my bandwidth which is probably 3 times if not 5 times what many US-based site owners pay. Spare me the 'the internet is not free' crap. I know it. I pay for it. Probably more than you each month. You're defending an increasingly losing position. Have you not noticed that most major sponsors are shifting to no-popup previews and many listing sites now refuse links to sites with popups. Your own industry (only by loose association) has already recognized and responded to this. Spam (which also seems to fit your list of excusable abuses explanation) has been outlawed. Are you not getting the message? I suppose the fact you were unable to determine that I am a webmaster most tangibly demonstrates your ignorance. Don't give up your day job kid - you're going to need it. |

dear surfer, we are only internet computer geeks and don't know how to make money without conning, scamming, tricking and spamming. We can't afford the $8.95 it costs to register a domain and the $20 a month to host it, so we figure out any method we can to swindle you out of your $24.95 a month or more just to line our pockets a little better. While you jerk off and get caught and get a divorce and lose your house and kids, we're going to buy a Ferrari with the money we tricked you out of... sure we'll burn in hell, but at least we aren't divorced and homeless. |

using blind linked thumbs and popups on my SE traffic, i still do earn much more more $ then proving them with free pics and console free pages. Trying to be good friend of surfer who wants everything for free isnt always the most successful way. But then again, i am not prisoner of TGP "charitable and nonconsole" mentality, giving everything for free with hope that one of 10000 surfers will buy something ![]() |

here is, how to do that: Step one copy the code Step two Download the js file that the code points to Step 3 open the js file in your notepad and change the URL to where you want to exit to(Only the url leave everything else as is or it won't work!) Step 4 upload the js file to your server and change the url in the code to that location Step 5 paste that code on your page like you would with regular exit code. i copy and paste this info from that board... |
