The value and respect one extends to others (not just paying or duped customers) reflects on you and your enterprise overall.
As a consumer, I will NEVER do business with anyone who suggests they will use any trick in the book to get my money. That goes for spam and circle-jerk popup sites.
The market has spoken - they want a choice when it comes to automatically generated windows.
Tools have been provided for the market to facilitate their choice. If they want popups THEY CAN enable them.
To my thinking, anyone who blatently tries to hack their way into their customer's face is of the same breed of wreckless dinks who used every trick in the book to rebill their clients - you wonder why adult processing is considered high risk?

Now those who offer traditional customer value and support services to prospects and paid members have to pay dearly for the trail of crap the quick-money hacks have left behind (and apparently continue reinvent ways to do so).
