Call me dumb or ignorant, but isn't it the easiest to just look for 1 of the 4 blackboxes and listen to what is being said in the cockpit?

I am sure a translator can easily figure out what country they are from, right?

Even though it's expected that they would look for it.. the news has talked about it many many times.

It's also thought that the boxes from the tower attacks have a 50-50 chance of being destroyed by the intense heat.

Theyre saying that the terrorists may have been smart enough to cut the power to the black boxes, since they cut the power to the communiction system (I forgot the name of it) which allows the pilots to send secret signals to the towers.
