Probably because there is so many people on here GFY's baby server can't handle the load. Maybe if everybody chips in their GFY would be able to pay for another server.

vbulletin fixed it a looong time ago

its just a matter of upgrading GFY, but when you're as busy as lens, i would rather just disable search then taking the time to fix everything too
