i'm not on here much so why is it now?

it's an experiment to see how many people will ask the same question over and over..

Probably because there is so many people on here GFY's baby server can't handle the load. Maybe if everybody chips in their :2 cents: GFY would be able to pay for another server.

vbulletin search function is a doorway to many many exploits

Oh, didn't know that. We need to tell vbulletin to get off their ass and fix that shit! How about the mail function so we don't have to bookmark every thread we want to keep track of? Keep the hamster fed so that he can send millions of emails a day.

its just a matter of upgrading GFY, but when you're as busy as lens, i would rather just disable search then taking the time to fix everything too
