Damn right, I have workied at Schiphol Airpost for a summerjob couple years back... I could go ANYwhere I wanted.
Remember this was just a few weeks after the El Al boeing hit Amsterdam Bijlmer Area. Nowe a friend of mine is telling me he is going to wortk as Airpost Security in a week. Hell man, he is just a freakin' student, they are supposed to 'pick' suspicious ppl. Problem is these fuckers do not look suspicious in most of the occassions! ------------------ ![]() - the Official TGP2 Counter --> signup now for realtime stats, toplists and more...! - Submit Your Galleries Here to The Naughty Daily - EraserCash - $35/signup, unique commissionprogram |

This sucks. Im here in Italy, and none of the news websites work. I was here in this internet cafe when the news broke, and read the post on gfy.. Could not believe it.. Thought it was a sick joke..
But when I saw the posts flooding on GFY I knew it was true. I then told the whole cafe about the attack, and we were all logged onto GFY for our latest up to date news! msn.com cnn.com cbs.com nbc.com abc.com msnbc.com all down here in Italy. GFY is Italys nuber 1 news source.. After reading the posts for the first 15 minutes my wife and I ran back to the hotel to watch the news on TV.. But for the first 30 minutes, GFY was our only news source.. Thanks for keeping me informed guys. The people in this cafe were all wondering what the hell GFY was, and I had to keep telling them this was on of Americas best news centers for information.. It htink they now belive me.. 3 hours later and I still see people here on gfy. |

An important point Lens, our airport security is a joke compared to most countries. We thought we were untouchable.

This shit is horrible.
I think that people that work at the airport have helped with getting weapons on board of the plane. I don't think u will get a gun inside a plane without help. |

It's possible that a pilot or flight attendant was involved and expedited the highjacking. I think service workers (e.g., the guys who deliver the in-flight food) can pretty easily smuggle weapons aboard. You can hijack with a knife as well as a gun, and, for example, I have a tanto (sort of like a Samurai sword only much shorter) which is made of very rigid plastic impregnated with glass fibers. Not much good for slicing but it can stab just fine. That sort of thing can go through X-ray machines without even being noticed.
There really isn't much we can do to prevent attacks like this, especially when the attackers don't even care about their own lives. ------------------ Check out the new teen/young woman content at Wonders of the Unseen World |

I would probably willing submit to having all of my luggage searched, my body searched, and me x-rayed if I thought it would keep a hijacker from hijacking my plane. But like they said, what about the people who deliver food to the plane? Could put a lot of wepons in one of those little carts they push if you had people on the inside.
They have guns made out of plastic too that are not detectible, that break down into components that look like ordinary stuff, or can hide things in shaving cream cans, stuff like that that you can't x-ray thorugh. Scary, scary stuff. |

hi Lens
you ask how they get the weapons on the plane ? it seems not too hard germans made a test on that on 20 airports in europe and the US even directly in new york it was no problem to get a pistol or another weapon in the plane |

It would be easy to bring weapons on a plane... I can think of ways to do it and I'm not even a terrorist... the easiest way would be to have your gun parts disguisted as key chains, belt buckels, or electronic equipment etc... the kind of shit that goes off on the metal detector anyway... Then you make the weapon once you are past all the security...
Maybe they weren't even using guns... All they have to do is fly the plane -- one guy could walk into the cockpit with a gas mask, release a chemical weapon -- and that would be it... When I got on a plane in Austin once they made me fucking open my grapefruit juice and drink it because they thought it may be a chemical weapon -- they're fucking yelling at me because I had no idea what the fuck was going on... Shit like that pisses me off -- but I can see the paranoia... But will a terrorist be that stupid??? -- I'm sure there are chemical weapons that are very tiny and could be harmless until prepared while on a plane... These terrorists aren't idiots... I'm sure they know all the security procedures... It seems to me anyone with half a brain could hijack a plane with a little research and planning. If it comes down to doing anal probes on every person that takes a flight -- very few people will ever fly on planes ;) Anyway I won't be on a plane any time soon... |

Slack airport security would be the answer.
On the trip to Miami a couple weeks ago, me, Diamond Jim from PMB and Jeff Miller from Sunup were running really late here in Phx. A non Delta skycap took our bags at the curb (redeye flight no Delta on the side we came in on), checked them in, the ticket agent issued boarding passes -- for ALL of us and I was outside parking the car, not even IN the airport yet -- at security Jeff set off the metal detector and they told him to go stand 'over there' -- no one 'over there' so he kept right on walking and no one stopped him. Then they had left my carryon at the xray by accident (I was still on the way in from parking the car remember) and security paged me to pick it up, didn't say one word to me when I grabbed it about ID or anything else, just let me cruise off with it. We laughed about it at the time but I don't think it's too funny now ![]() |

Domestic air travel in the US will never be the same. Prepare for increased security, and increased delays.
