Anyone actually been billed by them and know the name the transactions are made under so I can keep an eye out. I was never given access to my stats so I never sent traffic. Best not have been charged is all I can say.

Sjayne, I know what your saying, i made a thread about who was dollarpergigs CC processor so maybe somehow we could stop them from charging us but no one replied, i didn't have acces to my stats either, and the server was up for about 4 days, and then went to shit again, fucken shit service is all i can say about them

Have you ever been charged for their hosting? As you don't know the name they charge under, I assume no. I don't think they'll try to charge you now when their servers are down. That would be a perfect way to get them into court and I'd bet they wouldn't like that

They have been down since Tuesday afternoon and it seems that they closed down the business without any notice to their customers. James, the owner seemed like a good person to do business with but ended up showing his real, shady side. All of us that paid for this month will probably not be refunded and those who owned a server(s) there can forget about getting them back unless you want to involve a lawyer. Those types of people contribute to making this business more difficult and dishonest. BTW xxxhostit can you offer a 2 or 3mbps connection for that server setup? I need to push 25 to 30 gigs/day smoothly, thanks.

Why not? They're evidently gone for good so why shouldn't the webmasters who suffered from them be given a chance to get good deals now?

Don't bother on icq they haven't replied to any ICQs I have sent for the past month. I already have hosting with two other hosts that I use for my free sites and avs stuff. I just wanted this pay as you go type hosting for my TGP galleries since I have never done them on paid hosting.

DollarPerGig seems like it is something run by some clueless guy thinking he can make a quick buck, which if you did it on your own, with no overhead costs, you could make some money off of, but the second you need to pay for anything other than bandwidth (and you'd be in the negative for the first while with server(s)). I know there has been one guy doing this many times, with non-adult oriented hosts -- the too-good-to-be-true deals. Alwell, GFY.

I hate hearing any program just leave, but this is why you dont go with some small no name programs, they can just get up and leave over night.
