How many trick or treaters did you get?

We normally get about 30, so we buy for about 45.

Times must be tough though, because last night we had about 60.

So, we raided our kids candy and gave them money for it.

My Mother-in-law used to get about 120 kids. That's nuts.

Only 30? I went over my parents house and there must have been around 300+ kids during the night.

None, I went out and had a steak dinner and played some pool.

I just moved into my place, so we weren't quite set up this year. Next year we will be though.

Our neighborhood seems to be the opposite.

I guess I never really noticed, but the neighborhood is getting a little younger with quite a few more kids around.

Very disappointed last night, we only had 2 groups come by. I even erected a 7 ft lite inflatable Count Tigger on my front lawn to let them know we were expecting them. In taking my kids around, I can also say that my neighbors are the lamest of the lame. Down my street in either direction for one block, 70% of the houses were pitch black. I even knocked on a door where one of my neighbors was there (we saw her in the window) and when she heard the doorbell she turned out her lights and wouldnt answer the door.

Seriously, people like that last lady are lucky I no longer subscribe to vandalism.

I had to drag my kids in a wagon 3 blocks to get a street where there were actually lights on and kids in the street.

I went to my g-d son's house. We had about 100 kids. i did not see much in the way of creativity this year. My g-d son is 2 1/2 so this is really the first year he knew what was going on. he was in a Phillies Baseball uniform with his name and own # on the back.

After he finished playing shy, he had a great time. We had to pry his candy bucket out of his hand when we got back. When his mom and i went through his bucket he told us it was his and we should not touch it.....They learn so young!!!

We had about 100+ kids that came by and also a LOAD of teenagers that werent dressed up at all.

One girl that we asked what she was since had on nothing told me that its none of my fucking business what she is and just hand over the candy.

I laughed at her and gave her some candy since she had a whole tribe of young hoods with them. I knew they were about to get the scare of their young lives.

Down a few houses a neighbor had a set up of a haunted house and he dressed up and would jump out with a real chainsaw ( he's a lil nuts, lol ) and screaming shit, he's totally into it.

I see these assholes walk up and act tough when his wife's handing out candy to them, they all get close the porch and he jumps out with the chainsaw screaming kill over and over.

Fuckers couldnt run outta the area fast enough. I loved it.

I had 3.. only 3, and they were all over 13 and barely even dressed up- one wore her cheerleading outfit, one just drew eyeliner all over her face, and one didn't even have a costume!

So now I'm getting the whole crew here nice and fat with left over snickers cookie bites, smores bars, heath, twix, and mini chewy granola bars.

I had the best house by far in the neighborhood on a corner! WTF?!?

We bought 300 chocolate bars...had about 20 kids so we put a handful in each of their bags.

Where we used to live we would get about 250-300 kids.

We put together a Haunted House in our garage AGAIN! I love Halloween and this year it was a huge hit! We didn't count heads but we gave away $200 worth of candy. It was alot of fun chasing the kids down the street. I can't wait till next year...I am thinking that chainsaw idea sounds good!

We had loads of kids and they went nuts w/ the shaving cream, silly string and toliet paper. Some kids wrote "I get laid" on the side of a house w/ hot pink hairspray stuff. Cars were colored w/ it too. Then somebody wrote in shaving cream "I like to suck penis" in the street. How did the whole shaving cream thing get started anyway? Anybody know?

yeah thats crazy. i got a neighborhood watch newsletter and it said that curfew was 6pm and its against the law to be out after 6 unless you're an adult. i didnt see one kid out before 6 and there was hundreds of kids between 6 and 9.

I live in the hood. Black folk must not like halloween, because I didn't have a single Trick or Treater before I left for my party at 9pm.

It's not a tradition in Brazil, but some kids here in the building put ads in the elevators last year that they were going to trick or treat. We bought candies but they didn't show up

Lots of kids on this building.

We had a few, maybe 25 this year, better compared to the past 3 years when we got 0. I like the little kids and guessing their costumes, but this year there were groups of teenagers not even dressed up (A few girls said they were "Hoes" and dressed like sluts - they always look like that! LOL I've seen em)

Anyway, the pumpkins did their job telling the neighborhood we are "halloween" friendly and it was fun handing out candy. Out of 300 places in our subsection only like 5 places had decorations so we were glad anyone came by.
