Michael Moore's controversial film Fahrenheit 9/11 is to be made available to watch online on the eve of the presidential election.
The pay-per-view showing of Moore's anti-Bush documentary will cost viewers $9.95 (£5.40) to watch.

Internet movie provider CinemaNow said the film will be available on their website on Monday evening.

A satellite TV channel also plans to show Fahrenheit 9/11 on Monday, along with a film criticising John Kerry.

Vietnam war

The channel, DISH Network, will offer its 10 million viewers the chance to watch Fahrenheit 9/11 on pay-per-view.

Carlton Sherwood's film Stolen Honor: Wounds that Never Heal will also be shown on Monday.

Sherwood's 42-minute film criticizes Democratic presidential candidate Kerry's anti-war activities after he returned from Vietnam, and contains interviews with Vietnam prisoners of war and their wives.

Susan Arnold, vice president of programming at EchoStar's DISH Network, said: "We are pleased to provide a variety of political films and documentaries to better inform our customers."

'Legal concerns'

Moore has said he hopes Fahrenheit 9/11 will lead to Mr Bush losing the election on Tuesday.

He had originally struck a deal with the cable pay-per-view company iN DEMAND to show the film as part of a three-hour election eve special.

But the company announced two weeks ago it was dropping the project because of "legitimate business and legal concerns".

Moore accused iN DEMAND of bowing to pressure from Bush supporters.
