Sorry for posting in your thread since I'm not a Bush supporter, but you can't come up with 1 reason because there isn't any.

He was good for some comedy at the expense of over 1000 American lives and over 100,000 Iraqi lives.

My parents, small business owners for the last 30 years, for the 1st time ever can't afford medical insurance. My dad is using his social security checks to pay for his medical bills while they contemplate selling their house.

My brother the cop (Pinnelas County Sheriff's Department) has had his hours cut and has had to have his pregnant wife get a job at the local grocery store for minimum wage to help with the bills.

But thank goodness we're all safe from Saddam's terror squad.. or whatever he was doing to hurt us. Joy to the World!

edit: hmm maybe I'm not a supporter, sorry for posting

If ever there was a moment in history when the UNKNOWN was a safer bet than the known, THIS is it.

I am SO repelled by what I have seen these last 4 years from the "Bush Administration", I'm almost prepared to elect ANYONE ELSE. Capeesh?

Although I'm very anti Bush, I'm sure there are a few things he's done that are ok...

I don't think he's the anti-christ....

...but maybe his cousin ;)

I admire someone who will change his mind when the circumstances around him change. A person in power needs to be able to change with the people.

It's the people that need to be heard. If Kerry (who would believe a certain way) would change the way he votes because his people want him to, then that is a good man. WTG, senator from MA!

The biggest thing the Bush administration has been throwing around was when Kerry said, "I voted FOR funding the troops before I voted AGAINST it."

What I don't understand is why Kerry isn't telling us WHY he did one and then the other. If he did, then this would all go away. The first time they tried to put the bill through, the funding probably was going to be cut from a government program, and the second time they pushed it through, the funding was probably going to come from the people.

I am just speculating.

But if you keep up with how the Legislative branch rams bills through, then you'd understand there are many revisions sometimes and while one revision might appeal to a certain group, another version would appeal to the opposite group.

Use your heads. Realize that this asshole could have taken your children and made them go fight this war. Realize he could have sentenced your child to death by sending them off to war just like he sentenced over 150 people to death in Texas. Realize he transferred to the reserves when his ability to fight in a war mattered. Realize that Kerry went to war, and came back to talk about it. And now he's here to take this country to an even greater victory, to defeat real terrorism.

Let's help Kerry retire Bush.

I happen to think there are a lot of cool people on this board, and I seem to get involved in political threads more than anything else - so please, don't hate me because I am conservative.

Home ownership is at an all time high.
Our unemplyment rate is at 5.1%
Like it or not, Bush inherrited a recession-in-progress, and then our country was attacked. The economy is growing despite odds.

John Kerry was asked yesterday if <--edit-Osama-->Saddam<--done editing--> would have been in power had Kerry been in office at the time. Anybody know what his answer was? I do, because I pay attention to ALL of it, not just the propoganda that comes from both sides.

GW hasn't done EVERYTHING I would have liked him to do, but for fucks sake - I know what he WILL do over the next few years. You have to judge based on records, some of us may agree on that one....

John Kerry has put together 5 bills in the last 20 years. 1 was to name a building after some vetteran or another. another was to institute WORLD POPULATION AWARENESS week. Important stuff another was... well, WPA week was such a hit - he had it made a permanent occasion. he also Passed a bill that did something to make dolphins safer. i forget the fifth bill. You can't prove me wrong, because I am not.

\\\\\\\\\now, with that said, I gave you TWO things GW has done for us. I also gave you a few things that Kerry did. Wait - wtf DID Kerry do for us in his 20 years as a senator?

I can list a litany of complaints about Bush just as quick and through as the next guy, maybe even better. But can someone tell me what KErry has done for us? (besides making tuna more expensive)

No, what he has promised to do does not count. what has he DONE for us.
I don't get replys when someone posts in a thread I posted in, maybe that's a good thing :P

i'm voting for Kerry but...

Bush did keep america strong if we find out that by invading Iraq it helped keep the oil prices on the Dollar instead of going to the Euro.

Homeownership is only high because of the natural results of declining and unreliable economy.

Do you not know why interest rates have been so low? It is cheaper to own a home now than to rent one.

I wouldn't give the administration any credit on this, like it is their success.

So it's okay to kill tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians to keep the oil price in USD?

This is very clear to me and others. And I believe a historically based phenomenon as well.

If Bush claims to inherited the bad 'market' then he also must claim inheritance to a predicted strong housing market. Not EARNED.

So in your opinion we have never had a declining or unstable economy? Of course we have. I appreciate the lack of hostilty in your answer, maybe you didn't read my whole post

Okay, fine.

http://www.economagic.com/em-cgi/data.exe/feddal/ru

Statistics only.

Clinton was president from 1993-2000. I am certain no one disagrees with this.

Notice the upward trend late 92.
Notice the downward trend thereafter.
Notice it was 3.9% Dec 2000
Notice that Jan 2001 it was 4.2% right after Bush stole the office of the presidency.
Notice that it's higher in Sep 2004 at 5.4%.

So, you're happy he took Clinton's 3.9% and killed it. Good for you.

The people that have jobs don't have the luxury of waiting for the right house to come along. Renting is a bitch, and it costs at least twice as much than buying your house in most circumstances. Yet, everyone that has good credit now has a $60K debt in addition to their other misfortune. Good.

Easy question...make something hard.
