new virus/bug or what???

okay guys & girls this is strange!!!

If I check my mail or go surfing i get the following message popping up:

beta direct draw is expired

only option is to press ok (i hate mirsoft boxes)

then i get the message:
please update


HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM well i dont know what this fucking shit is...

searched my entire Harddrives + erased the string from the registration database....

can anyone help me solve this problem????

is it virus?
spyware?
something much more evil such as crabs...

please help!

it pops up like 5-6 times in a row!

some time passes and then shit happens again!

Go to the MS upgrade-update page and see if you are lacking something too. Sometimes a critical update or other patch they have will fix weird things like that.

Maybe yer best bet is to search the so called 'knowledge base' at http://search.microsoft.com/us ...

Do a search for mshtml.dll - it returns a load of different error messages for that module & hopefully you'll spot the one relevant to your probs

I predict a reinstall of IE will be recommended

jonny thanks for all your help but nothin' have helped so far

I have installed IE 6 now and this helped a little BUT it still shows everytime i check mail

please if anyone have ideas to solve this THEN share em with me........

damn this fucking shit....

i've used all nite....

called all the socalled experts....

I even thought my computer got the crabs from boneprone now that he is in europe....

I got to irritated that I tryed to set time back to 2000 on my computer.... and voila.... NOW IT WORKS.....

Well I can live with this solution until I find out what trickers this error.... MAYBEE I should install win2000 pro....?????

any advice on operating system??? I have used "ME" for a long time now with absolute no problems.... now this shit happens.....

I had a simular problem with a direct draw beta, checked out microsofts page.

The only way to get of this "NAG" is to re-install your windows again. - The choice is yours.

And I recomend not downloading anymore Beta software again. They just Fuck things up !
