I was a police officer for 10 years. I specialized in investigations and surviellance. I did do some fugitive recovery, officialy and un-officially. I have been all over the country hunting the worst of the worst. Detroit, Texas, Florida, name it, been there, done that, have proof.

I don't want to argue man, I have no hate or bad feelings here. My only point from the beginning is this.... I'm not a big guy, but I am a smart one. I have been in some bad places and been very very lucky throughout my career. I learned in about year 4 that I have one chance to let ANYONE I am after know one thing when I confront them.. I will win this fight, no matter what. With all odds against me, with no weapons at hand, out numbered, no back-up, no familiar landscape, nothing, nothing, nothing.. I will win this fight. I will go home tonight. This perp WILL go to jail and I will go home... no matter what. no other option, 'nuff said, it ends here. I succesfully arrested hundreds of people, many of whom were thought to not be found. In 10 years, I can limit the amount of fights I was in that I actually hit the ground or someone made contact with my body to less than the fingers I have on one hand.

in santa cruz we have a contest every other week at at least one of the breaks.. one time ther was a contest at the 3 main breaks. and they were all tellin people to beat it. If ya did not surf during contest here you would surf half as much as you normally do.
