It's pretty easy.
Create a new file with notepad and call it .htaccess Make sure it has no .txt extension. When write the following into it: ErrorDocument 404 /404.html and replace /404.html with any url you want (which should actually exist of course ![]() ------------------ Current Special: Dedicated Servers for less than $2 per GB, including server rental! lemme reword this...
yes, you can have multiple lines like that, but your domains each should have their own directories, so you want to create a unique .htaccess file for each domain... [This message has been edited by Amputate Your Head (edited 08-30-2001).] |

I have a complex dir structure:
Public_html - root dir where I have all my files from domain 1 and where sit dirs for other domains. So i put .htaccess to public_html with protection for domain 1 i think it will block other domains no ? So I've put protection for all domains into 1 .htaccess and uploaded htaccess into root domain - i think it's working [This message has been edited by DarkJedi (edited 08-30-2001).] |

Just create a blank test page and hotlink one of your own pics to test for that, then type in a URL that doesn't exist and see if you go to wherever you specified for the 404s...
