			 Just my day of dumb questions but how much of a different does using the same IP for multiple domains have on a search engine? |

				 | What juicy said - you need to spread that shit in blocks as well.  You can fit multiple domains per IP, just not many, and don't interlink too heavily if they're on the same block.

 Having a ton of sites on the same IP that all link to eachother can be a bad thing as far as ranking. Having < 10 is ok. If I'm on a virtual host server, I might be linked to 5 other sites (which I don't own) on the same IP address. as far as seperate blocks, most hosts won't give seperate blocks with out good reason, simply because they have to give a reason to buy more blocks. The easiest way is to use multiple hosts.
