Here's the thing about Ibill...
As far as I know they have a pending agreement with Merrick Bank to process Visa in the USA as an IPSP in November, right?
From the original Ibill court filing in Sept: "First Data confirmed these assurances in conversations with iBill when they reported to iBill that they would extend the contract upon receipt of a commitment letter from Merrick (Bank), which commitment letter Merrick presented to First Data on September 15, 2004" Now we assume this is true as it was sworn into court. So as Merrick Bank presented this letter of commitment one can assume they will be processing in the USA in the near future, right? Has Merrick said they will not do this? It seems to me as long as they have this contract then any cash issues are short term. Sure a lot of rebills are going to be lost and everyone is pissed off but it seems to me they will fly again. Does anyone else know or see it differently? |
