Christian Bale
Saw previews for his new movie
"the machinist" the other night, he plays a man who hasnt slept in a year..lost 68 pounds for the role.. take a look at the trailer. fucking insane.. http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramo...machinist.html hard to believe its the same guy.  I dont see how actors can fluctuate their weight like that without negative effects on their health. I guess the millions of dollars help a little. |

Great actor.
But I agree his weight loss was pretty shocking for that flic. He apparently wanted to lose even more (20 pounds) but the producers wouldn't let him.

re: weight gain/loss. tom hanks, and a host others did it. and it's good publicity too, when the movie isn't a good thing to talk about during interviews, promotions |
