I use it on most of my pages. Whether or not others do as well is up to them. I use it for the purpose it was intended, what that is, well, like fusionx said, its not for public knowledge. If you don't know what it is, I wouldn't advice using it.

Make sure it's after your title tag but before your body tag. The ID is encoded to read the titles and meta tags to figure out exactly how far up you get bumped on the SERP's. I'll ICQ you, its easier.
