I just replaced my TV with one of these big screen jobs

Pretty cool, first big screen TV I saw that doesn't look like sandpaper

Got a pretty good deal, it was last year's model, so I got $1,300 off the regular price

I always feel like I should have a little tag "your porn dollars paid for this"

I have 2 HDTV units, but I don't use it for HDTV, I use it for progressive scan DVDs. Now that is a world of difference. You gotta get one.

my father works in production & multimedia business...

a couple years ago, he went to some exposition abotu HDTV, ... like 10 years ago or soemthing.... they were showing the technology, what it can do and all..

they had this HD Camera hooked up to the HDTV which was filming an aquarium right beside it... he told me that there was NO apparent distinction between what he saw on the screen, and on the aquarium...

of course, these are a couple of 10 grands worth equipement, but it was all new technology... If they can start to devellop the technology right and get most shit filmed that way, watch out!
