iBill "Update" is not and update for US accounts again

iBill was supposed to post about their VISA solution for US accounts today. Posted this instead.

-----

Payout & VISA Processing Update

iBill EU Payout originally scheduled for Oct 4 was processed on October 14, 2004. As we posted yesterday, past-due payouts will begin being paid to our clients over the course of the next 10-15 business days. The delays this week were related to our ongoing efforts to resume our domestic VISA processing. We are grateful to those clients who have supported us throughout this difficult time and we have no other priority above paying our clients. Your calls and e-mails are important. Please be assured that every effort is being made to respond to the questions from our clients in a timely manner. If you are uncertain of the name of your assigned account representative you may obtain it along with his/her contact information by contacting sales at [email protected].

So, what about those of us who did not sign the merchats agreement and loosing our VISA rebills and missing our payouts?

I'm also wondering about this part: "iBill EU Payout originally scheduled for Oct 4 was processed on October 14, 2004."

So basically, they've paid EU for 2 of their checks owed, and US nothing.

When they paid EU for the check from September, I understood.... That was the group of checks they were furthest behind on. It made sense.

However, US checks should have gone out on the 1st.... They SKIPPED paying that and went to pay the EU checks for the 4th.

Either do it in order, or just fucking say, "EU isn't nearly as much money to pay out as US, so they get paid first."

Or are they getting ready to drop something on us and only be an EU processor, so they don't want to lose those EU customers?

I have normally supported Ibill throughout the years, but right now, I'm mad as hell. If I'm missing something here and being unfair to Ibill, somebody set me straight because I'm too mad to think clearly.

We (EU-webmasters) still need to get our sep 30 reserve payout... but it´s good that they are otherwise up to date (for EU)

Who knows, but the iBill European stuff *should* not be affected.

The problem appears to be the US bank, First Data, but who knows if they have screwed the lot into one melting pot.

If they are paying anyone it should be EU webmasters since none of their funds were held. What are you suggesting, they use funds that were collected for their Euro webmasters and have not been held by a bank to pay US customers first? I do believe that would be theft.

Thank you for the explanation, I understand now. As I said, I'm too mad about this whole thing to think straight.

So they are paying EU because that money isn't effected by FirstData. Which means the only monies they have paid which were effected by FD is the revshare checks they cut for September, correct?

So when they stated they were borrowing money to pay off their customers and then sent out checks right after that, they only acquired enough to pay out those revshare checks? I think my problem is that I was assuming they borrowed money to pay EU at that time also, so it skewed things in my mind.

I don't know about the rest, but right now, they owe US master account holders for our reserve check from September 30th, our regular check on October 1st, and now our regular check on October 15th.

And still no news regarding the "alternate" to this merchant account "option". There's no way we are signing up for this "Direct" method.

I apologize for my outburst, but my patience for this is as thin as it can be without being non-existant.
