Face it, kerry will lose.

As much as I don't want to see this happen, I kinda know he will lose...
Everyone here should face it now, before it's too late, and shit that happend to iBill will start happening to you.

I'm sure there will be a major terror alert the week of the election, to scare some of the left over sheep to Bush.

They've already begun, so far this week we've had terrorists planning strikes on schools and ferries.

until americans start giving a shit about the world and refuse to eat the shit thats being fed to them by Bush - USA will be stuck with him. Had someone say yesterday, ".... like Israel's King, you know.. like Britian, Canada and Spain"

If there are truly americans so oblivious of the world and their own country - then your all doomed to 4 more years of Bush.

PS: in case your wondering what was just said, Britian, Canada an Spain do NOT have a King!!

I can only hope that Kerry wins. I really don't want to see Bush in office again. I lived out in the Big D when he was Governor of Texas and he's still the same while running the country. He's just a cowboy waiting to fight someone with his own personal views that he wants the rest of the world to follow.

You guys are nuts, you forget 92 so quickly. How can you say Bush is going to win? There's no way Bush is going to win, Kerry has it in the bag already. All talk and no action doesn't win elections, when it comes down to it Americans don't vote for Presidents who fuck up the economy. Don't believe the bullshit they feed you on TV, what you have to remember is polls are bullshit and the news actors don't know shit. I watch US TV news as well and I realize that they make is seem like Bush is extremely popular and probably going to win, but it's bullshit. I'll bet anyone any amount of money that he loses by 10 electoral votes or more.

I don't think Dean would have a chance in hell at standing up to the extremely negative campaign Bush is running (and always runs). Kerry is the best candidate in the country. These attacks from John O'Neil about his military service don't mean anything to people over 40 who pay attention. They remember, O'Neil is just a little wiener who got owned by Kerry in the 70's when they both got back from Vietnam. I don't know if you guys realize that these swift boat douchebags, especially O'Neil, have been harassing Kerry since Nixon put them in charge of doing so. Listen to the Nixon tapes, they're the most entertaining recordings of the 20th century. Kerry scared the shit out of them because he was doing such a great job opposing the war, and Nixon put O'Neil in charge of attacking him and denying that anything bad was happening in Vietnam. They debated on live TV and Kerry made O'Neil look like a complete ass. These guys have absolutely no credibility to anyone besides uninformed Bush supporters.

Kerry is also the one candidate who could put Bush on the ropes like he did during the debates.

I think Kerry will win by a margin--The polls don't take into account the newly registered voters. Polls are based entirely on past elections and voters who have already voted before.

If black people vote the same way they did in 2000, Kerry will win the popular vote by at least a million because of the number of newly registered black people since 2000.

Voter registration overload is occuring all over the place--the number of new voters this election is astounding. All Kerry needs to do is convince the people that Bush is bad, and he's doing a great job. The arguments against Kerry aren't even that good.

Kerry changes his position on issues. He says whatever the people want to hear. Well that's great. There's only one thing that is keeping Kerry from being the best leader of any people yet--acting on these promises. If Kerry did whatever the people wanted as much as he talks in this manner, he'd be the first true president this country would ever see. I want Kerry to change positions as many times possible to maintain the wishes of the people. We should hold national polls each week to help Kerry determine what we the people want him to stand for. I'd actually like to be able to call him up on the red telephone myself and ask him to make a few adjustments for my personal benefit. Isn't this what the leader of a democracy is expected to do? Cater to the people. Lead the way we want. I want the man who does the most dancing, please.

Almost a good point, but you have to remember that the president is supposed to be much more knowledgeable than Joe Sixpack in Louisiana, and sometimes leadership is doing things that are unpopular, because you believe they're right. Like Nixon going into China.

In theory, what you said is right, but when you think about most people in this country who would get polled, they don't know their ass from a door. My roommate is voting for Bush because she "likes his voice a lot better than Kerry's" and because "Kerry looks like a sloth." Do you want her voting on all the decisions our country makes?

Of registered voters who voted in the last election/s, the country is dividied about 50/50 ... or so say the general consensus of the polls.

However, new voters (who have not been included in any of the polls) are registering democratic vs. republican by margins of up to 10-1 in some battleground states. The polls also do not include cell phone users, meaning they do not include a lot of younger voters (who tend to be more liberal).

50/50 polling + these additional numbers = a Kerry win.

You may be right. I registered my new address yesterday and will vote for the first time in 20 years. I changed from republican to democrat.

This race is about as 50/50 as you can get. There is no clear winner and most of the undecideds won't decided until they're in the voting booth. In addition, many of the people being polled won't bother to actually vote.

It's all up for grabs!

No shit! If you're driving off a cliff, do you turn, or keep going because you don't want to look indecisive?

It's interesting to see all the posts saying that Bush is obviously going to win. (even those from supposed Kerry supporters).

Was just reading in today's Seattle Times about how Bush's campaign advisors are VERY worried about the election because they thought they had the election in the bag easily..and then came the first debate. SINCE that debate..Bush has lost ground in EVERY battleground state. While he will probably hold on to SEVERAL battleground states, it doesn't deny he's lost ground.

States like Colorado & New Mexico that thought were going to Bush are now a tossup. The lead Bush had in Ohio, Florida AND Wisconsin has all but disappeared.

His national approval rating on how he's doing as President is at an ALL TIME LOW for him at 44%. NO PRESIDENT has ever been re-elected with such a low approval rating. EVER!

I'm not worried. And if Kerry does well in tonight's debate, I'll be very confident.
