and what revolutions are being made in other forms of music?

Techno - Dance to this music, everyone have fun, sex
Hard Rock- Sex, drugs and rock n roll.
Metal - Darkness rules, evil is all around us
Punk/Emo - Have fun do not conform, oh woa is me
R & B - the happyness and pain of love and relationships
Goth - mix metal and emo: darkness rules, oh woa is me no one accepts me
Country - losing it all, we are poor but we survive

Music does not change much on any level other than it gets super saturated with the same messages and every once in a while someone comes along with a sub-genre such as gangsta/floss/bounce/phycho/metal hop for rap, drum and bass/electronica/club/break beat etc etc for techno and ska etc for punk/emo. If you listen to other forms of music other than rap you are no more revolutionary you are just not as popular anymore :2 cents:

That's terrible!

yeah, and just recently, joe budden came to san diego. the promoters only got about 20 people to the show in a building that holds 3500. the entourage on stage was more people than the audience. it looked so bad. no one in san diego knows or cares who joe budden is. the entourage was on stage acting like it was the biggest thing they ever did. maybe it was. then joe budden came out and got on the mic and said "fuck san diego" and they left. LOL

LOL! Thats hilarious! Poor Joe! He must if felt like a loser!

wouldn't it be funny if the country guys took what the rap guys do with their emtourages on stage?

imagine it.

you'd have a bunch of dudes in suspender pants and pitch forks on stage standing around like they were hard. LMAO

"hey rufus, go on down to the barn and git me another bag a tobaccy, we's about to do the encore number."

and then a rival country singer rolls up outside on his john deere and does a "tractor by" on the show.

:1orglaugh

this thread is pretty hilarious thanks for posting. I have read quite a few threads today other than this on GFY and quite a few were about cars and money and what I have what you don't how about if you guys write a rap about that and then all five of you can sit on stage and sing it to all twelve of your friends.

I really am not hating either way but was amused...

Listening carefully it came to me just why some of the guys here do not like rappers. I see a lot of guys talking about how retarded rapping about drugs, bitches, fucking, money, cars and disrespecting women when it dawned on me.

They are talking about the same shit most of the people here do, INCLUDING the people who are complaining. If you look around here you see pics of big rims on cars, expensive cars, hot chics, talks about how many women you fucked, disrespect of talent/models/party girls and of course drugs. The differance is you KNOW the rappers are doing it and making way more money and sleeping with hot chics and not having to pay for it or call it an "interview" :1orglaugh

How hypocritical is it to be in the porn industry and exploit women for money and then turn around and condemn a rapper for REALLY doing what our industry portraits. Do you smell that *sniff sniff* smells like HATER, Don't hate the player, hate the game.

ON POINT! respect...

All im saying is that this game is getting boring,.. and where is the talent nowadays?

I'm a music lover...in general...I like all different kinds of music...I just don't feel entertained by the entainment industry anymore. Everythings starting to sound the same AND look the same. Especially in Hip Hop. It's hard to hear something that sounds original. I really appreciate the artists that can bring something unique to the table that actually have something to say and some knowledge to spit. That's music...That's talent.

Yea there's some tracks out there where they talk about rims,hoes$$$....That I like to bump, don't get me wrong...

but in any case, if you don't have diversity...Shit gets boring.

LOL. Damn, this thread sure took some strange turns.

Funny, Mase and the Peas are in my cd changer at the moment :)

The only rap that will last is underground, especially gangster rap.
