fitty Moore fans:1orglaugh

yep! thats why this thread was started. to try and drag the "truths", "half truths", and everything else out of other people that have seen it.
i know one thing, i don't trust any damn body in the government above the pay grade of a meter maid at the capitol building. when i was in the military, i sat on top of a bunker of nukes while we watched bushy senior go on and on about how there are no nukes in south korea. HA! my ass. straight up lied to the american people on t.v., and didn't even blink. i guess its true, people can't know everything, they wouldn't be able to handle the truth, but lying is lying. no matter who wins the election we are still doomed for 4 more years. |
"Lying is lying." A simple concept that, for some reason, when the liars feed some people enough shit enough times, people rationalize and forgive the lies.
It's amazing isnt it? It is entertaining though to watch people repeat the same rhetoric they see on tv as their own reasonings. And the attempts to deflect from the content of the movie to the movie creator is always good for a laugh. I didnt read all of this thread, but I bet some people complained about moore as a reason to ignore all of the content, didnt they? lol. Anyway, yes it is an interesting set of facts and one mans opinion about the reasons behind the facts and so forth. |

yes, plenty of moore bashers. i don't have an opinion on him really either. i lean towards, he has an alterior motive, but there are too many things that couldn't go his way if they weren't true. whatever is true is even a consideration, its how it affects people and how it makes them react at the polls, so for people like me who already have cast a vote of no confidence for both sides, movies like this don't help me either way. why the hell did i post this thread? LMAO |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA major ownage! riddled even. |
whats so hard to understand about this fucked up situation?
Cheney was CEO of Haliburton ( HAL ) , a company that supplies US ARMY. Enron , the biggest scandal of all times, was the No1. source of funds for Bush 4 years ago. Bush Sr. is majority owner of Carlyle Group . Carlyle Group owns United Defense , company that makes Bradleys, tanks etc... Carlyle Group went public just prior to Iraq war... I mean, WTF.... using tax payers $ to fund your own companies is the best scam I ever heard of. All of the above are facts, except its hard to prove who is really involved with Carlyle Group..but its enough to cause smoke..and where there is smoke..there is fire.. |

He did say that the Bush family has big financial involvement with the Saudis, that he flew the Bin Ladens out of the US immediately after 9/11 and a few other things. Accusing Moore of being biased and then accepting what Bush tells you is the height of stupidity. Bush killed thousands based on false evidence or did he not want to listen to anything else? In a tight spot and yoyu had to believe ONLY ONE PERSON who would you trust more Bush or Moore? No third option. |
Quote:
It id biased but no more biased than most other political documentaries, but there are too many facts that emerge that show Bush to be flawed. Or do you like the fact that your President and his family are so heavily indebted to a foriegn power? Any foriegn power. |

I would place money on the Iraqia voting him back in by huge landslide. |
Moore is biased and his editing clearly shows it. You have to understand that before you watch the film.
But just finding that one statement is a lie or that he's a "Hostile Witness" for the prosecution does not discount the rest of his argument. If that were the rules and they have to be applied to Bush as well. |
i really dont know what to think anymore, anyone with this mess to deal with in the office of president is setting themselves upfor failure.
|
Bush is in office and the price of oil has never been higher, but ofcourse there can't POSSIBLY be ANY kind of connection. How could the former governer of Texas, who's family is in the oil business have anything to do with that ... you'd be a fool to think this! You're a bunch of sheep!

One thing that is very bad in this country is how the army recruits kids. They try to convince kids that they are going to a camp for a little while, get in shape, get a few skills, go home, then go to college for free. They never talk about war. They are always saying war is not probable.... 'no, no, no, son. you are just going to get a few skills and become trained. We then send you to college for free then you can do anything you want'. They target kids who don't know the system or war. When I was in the 5th grade, a couple years before the Gulf War, army recruiters came in to talk to us in small groups. They played the song 'proud to be an american' over and over and told us all about the great skills we can get and the free education. I was from a generation that has never seen war... at that age kids don't fully understand war. I think about what they did and it makes me sick. I was vulnerable at that age. They were instilling half truths into my mind so I would lean towards signing up after high school. Luckily I had a grandfather who was in WWII and I saw his physical wounds and he always was showing me pictures from the war and all of his friends who died. So I saw what war could do. Moore showed some of this in the movie then showed the young immature kids running off to war playing rock songs to get them pumped up and killing 8 year old innocent kids. They were also abusing prisoners who were soldiers... not terrorists... soldiers of Iraq. The recruiting in this country is sick. Poor kids don't look to the army for EMPLOYMENT because they are too dumb... they look to the army to help pay for higher education because they are too poor. |

Have you even seen the movie? Everyone I know that trashes the movie have not seen it and refuses to watch it, they've been brainwashed by right wing talk show hosts whom havent seen it either. The movie basically confirmed everything I already knew, of course its biased, why shouldnt it be? Anyone with half a brain can see this is the most corrupt administration in US history. Moore sees this and wants to expose them, yet he's a prick for doing so. Unless you're a major stockholder of Halliburton or a high ranking republican not only are you a fucking idiot for defending this administration but you are allowing a group of people to screw the American public and profit off of your ignorance. |
Quote:
i own the fucking movie its sitting right here you are the idiot who wont accept michael moores bullshit simpley because it puts this current administration in a bad light. read your post, it basicly confirms it. Quote:

I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ADMINISTRATION you want everything moore said to be nothing but facts which they arent. yes, ive watched it 5-6 times, maybe ill watch it right now. |
The movie was good , but michael moore fabricates evidence and makes intentional mistakes to bolster his own theories. He has done this so many times in the past.
Remember bowling for columbine. He makes blanket accusations and wild blown out theories like haliburton had something to do with the kids freaking out. Many of the "facts" he throws out in 9/11 are nothing more than stabs in the dark. Many are intentional mistruth's that he uses to create a character for him to attack. He made most people believe the saudi's were flown out of the u.s.a. while all other aircraft were grounded. What he forgets to mention is, the saudi's that flew out , flew out just like any american can and did, there was no special treatment, and days aftewr 9/11 we still didn't have any reason to stop them. What someone needs to do is make a documentry about michael moore. :) |
