So the wife calls me at the office yesterday at 10 a.m. and tells me the power is out at the house.

I get home from work around 5:30 and it is still out and there are So Cal Edison trucks all over the place. Idiots laying couple cut the power lines. The idiots were doing sub-contract work for Verizon.

So I find the Verizon guy to find out how he is going to reimburse me for the groceries that are now spoiled. He gives me the information and I ask him what they are doing.

Get ready to envy me....

There are 4 cities in the U.S. that will be 100% fiberoptic. Mine is one of the 4. In about 5 weeks, I will have fiber optic DSL at my house..if I choose the cheapest package I will have a 30mps dsl line for $29.95. That is 30 mps both up and download. Higher speed packages are available. The price?? $29.95 a month.

30 MPS!!! I can't wait.
