200 dual xeon servers for sale, great price.
One of my customers is trying to offload 200 used servers they have from a recently upgraded beowulf cluster.
The stats are : dual xeon 2.4ghz 4gig ECC memory 1 80 gig hard drive single p/s These are located in San Jose, CA.. Which means sales tax in california. The price is $1600/server, and they are not interested in selling lots of less than 25 servers. There are discounts available for larger purchases, especially for orders of 100-200 servers. Yeah, we're considering ebay actually.. It's just rather lousy to try to sell large lots on ebay.. we're going to try for a month to do it through word of mouth, then go ebay or dovebid..
