Work. Simply write, and don't look at how good/bad something is until after you've written it.

I had a friend who writes historical fiction. His solution was to smoke a lot of weed and write in a new setting. Get out of your office and get into someplace that makes you feel relaxed and free. He went to the mountains, smoked dope and wrote like crazy.
I found that if I write something else for a week or two, then I can get back to whatever I'm blocked on. ie, if I'm writing porn, I have to write travel articles or letters to family or something and then I get unblocked.

My advice : set about the task of writing something that only you will ever read. Make it a spontaneous writing excercise. Tell yourself a story, one that you would like to hear (not your readers or viewers). And - most importantly - do not become self-critical. Your writing will begin kind of awkward. It will feel sloppy and haphazard. But soon you'll find your rhythm. The old saying "a writer writes" is the best cure for writer's block. Good luck |

I've heard good things about lucid dreaming. Don't believe any of it. But google is your friend if you wanna look into it some more.

Drugs and alcohol. Some of the best writers were addicts.

The way that I get around writer's block is to step away from the computer and take a walk, do some chores, read a book, take a nap or play a game.

Look at your own life, your past, and expand on situations that happened to you. Eventually your thoughts will take you onto a different path which you can explore...
