Nobody is showing online to me but I can message just fine, when I tried icq lite I had no contact list, when I tried Icq 2 go it wouldn't connect to the server.

This is the first time I have had a problem pretty much, sucks!

I had problems with ICQ for quite some time but this week it's working fine. In the last weeks I had to use ICQ2Go most of the time.

i can log on,but my contact list is gone....i was able to receive a message from somoene and i can chat but they have to initiate it first, and apparently it shows me as "offline", when that is not the case

Reboot your system, it does that to me sometimes.
