Largest amount of money you lost, or were ripped off, or found

Found $200 in a grocery cart when I was a stock boy.

Been ripped off $500 for a Search Engine script. Not totally ripped off, I didn't read the fine print. It would only work on Windows, not FreeBSD.

Physically lost/misplaced $20. Actually lost $200 in blackjack.

Not much lost, not much gained in terms of straight luck.

"Invested" $800 for a friend to buy a car and supposedly fix it up quickly it up for a big profit. Never saw the money again, of course. Learned my lesson...

found $100 dollars at a gas pump once. Lost $900.00 gambling once. Got ripped off for $700.00 by www.xcent.com for some software i purchased from them paying them to install it on my server. they failed to make it work, gave no explanation why, and split town with my cash. and wont answer my emails.

That pretty much sums it up.

You know I heard things about them for about 2 years shutting down accounts for no reason. I almost didn't believe it until the this past year when they finally admitted they were getting out of adult.

largest amount of money i've found was $120 right in front of an atm..

largest amount i've been ripped for was $300 (shady weed dealer)

as for losing money.. i've probably misplaced a couple $20s in my life.. but it usually comes back around on laundry day

When CSI pulled the plug the guys at Epoch were kind enough to import all my customers over, also thanks to the X-3 guys the import went smoothly for all our affiliates, Quiet lets hope you don?t have to go that route, still a pain in the ass to do.

I wouldn't have the heart to put a family member away, just ended my relationship with them for good and wrote it off.

Its just money.

Found $2K in a white envelope at the Hyatt Hotel. $400 of it was counterfeit (found out by using a counterfeit bill detector pen). The rest went to a nice vacation in Hawaii.
