Most communities will likely meet NCLB budget shortfalls by raising property taxes, local government's usual source of education funding. Washington's property taxes increased nearly 10 percent from 2001 to 2003. And many other states have followed suit since Bush took office.

no they weren't. He PUSHED and pushed hard for ANYTHING that would connect Iraq with 9-11 and accepted any dodgy intelligence that said what he wanted to hear, even though most of the intelligence community was saying the info was shaky at best, manufactured at worst.

He knew BEFORE Colin Powell addressed the UN that the Yellowcake info was wrong.

How do I know this? I watch the news. This isn't anything new and this isn't supposition. This is PROVEN and well known to anyone who knows how to turn on CNN or read the NYT.
