Its just a bookmark. Click it its safe. i can send the source code if you want or a hex editor to peek at it..

Its just a popup window with a smokey face on it that loads into your startup

look in your start bar , startup folder after and see if the exe file is there.. It will ask you to replace it if its already been installed..

If i were doing this widely i would make a small translucent bar that is set on a timer with some bookmark/links to your sites.

So it would load on startup and deliver links silently..

That was installing an exe without a prompt.

This is using both methods. It wont install the exe until the user has viewed and scrolled back up the page.. ( and recieved a popup on xp-sp2 )
