Wrong...the President never said " ?MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!?...anywhere other than in your mind.

The US. This the the standard US tool for everything - stuff countries on sanction lists. The US was actually the main advocate of sanctions - and still is, not only at the UN over Iraq, but every other damned place. Check your "State Department".

Various moves at the UN to remove these sanctions, for exactly the reasons you stated, were constantly blocked by the US (as is the custom!)

Iraq has absolutely nothing to thank the US for in the area of sanctions. It was the US who instigated these sanctions at the UN.

Well it is apparent that you too believe the UN to be irrelevant as it seems that you think the UN is just a puppet for the US. The US says I propose sanctions and all fifteen members of the UN Security Counsel says Oaky Doky...you've got 'em.

BTW...it took some effort for the US to convince the UN to remove the sanctions...but they finally said Oaky Doky...like the good little puppets you apparently believe them to be.

I hate Bush. I am soundly against the war in Iraq (I've always been against it), as are most of the Americans I know.

> USA owes even a bigger apology.

I owe no one an apology, nor did I vote for the knuckle-walking moron who signed onto the war. The majority of us did not. And yet again, the majority will not vote for him and he'll still be re-elected.

If you mean the US government, I'm with you 100%, but please say so.
