One that is in a paradise I ain't even gonna say....

It was built on a totally speculative basis in the middle of paradise... beats all the other marketed shit hands down.

I stayed there for about three months as a guest (at no cost) - the food and staff were something I've never seen *anywhere*.

Best bit is I start taking money from em in two months - for extra water supplies - at a cost of around $60-$80k/month - sweet!

You like the Burj!? This place is ugly and totally over-rated by far. Its just like any other big appartment, whats special about that?

Nicest hotel I was at until today was The Residence, Mauritius:
http://www.theresidence.com/

Another place I want to get to in the next year or two is The Royal Coco Palm in Khao Lak, Thailand:
http://www.theroyalcocopalm.com/

Skip Intro, Click on "resorts & spas" on the right, then pick Khao Lak (4th one). The pictures sadly suck now because they changed it to all Flash...

Why do Americans love huge "fake" hotels like Atlantis? I do not get it. They are absolutely un-personal huge bunkers. Whats so great about that? <G>

To each his own I guess

I prefer small hotels with real privacy and personal service.

Banff Springs Hotel.

I got an employee discount deal. One of their suites for $65 a night.

Something like 3,000 sq ft, with everything you could want. My lady loved the whirlppol bath....

I'm surprised no one has mentioned a 4 Seasons hotel yet. I liked the FS in Kona, HI.

I also really liked the Princeville Resort in Kauai.

Anyone been to either of the Four Seasons in Bali? I think they are both in the top 5 every year.

Embassay suites in NYC.

Kick ass views, great service, great food and fantastic resturants in the hotel as well across the street.

The service was impeccable.

Gaylord Palms in Orlando, we got a room from Priceline for $100, when we arrived at the desk we told em it was my fiances 21st b-day and they gave us the presidental suite, man that was one hell of a hookup.

http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylordpalms/

Btw Atlantis is pretty killer too, a bit pricey but very nice.

I stayed at the Grand Flamingo in the Mayan Riveira and it looked very similar. That was by far the most beautiful resort Ive stayed at. The hotels that I saw in Vegas........Now thats a different story. I was blown away.

I've never met a Four Seasons I didn't like! The one on Hawaii is probably the most impressive property from a grounds standpoint, especially the salt water snorkeling pool. Vancouver has the best concierge, and their Aviara property is probably the most beautiful hotel overall. The 180 Suite at the Vegas property is proclaimed to be the best suite in Vegas as well by the travel magazines.

Either the big suites at the Bellagio (forget the name) or the 4 bedroom Fantasy Suite at Caesars.
Honestly the best accomodations i have enjoyed have been on my best pals boat/yacht. Never never never have i been so spoiled and taken care of. Can't wait for FantasyFest!
