For some strange reason my sales have been climbing steadily for 10 months straight. Traffic too.

I've been sick as a dog on and off due to a vitamin/nutritional problem that had been fucking with me since 2001. It was torture to sit there and draw but I plugged away anyway.

So my income doubled from last year and is still going strong.

I've done the old and new tricks but the one thing, the one thing above all is that I opened a Yahoo group and I communicated with surfers/fans more. When I could I could answer emails and posts on all types of subjects about cartoons and I was funny about it. I was suprised how many varied walks of life fans had.

Now that I'm up and about after chugging gallons of Gatorade ( notice how all them doctors and specialists couldn't do squat but good ol' Gatorade solved the problem ), I can now have fun drawing again non-stop. ( I was realllll fucked up. Called sister last month to handle my Last Will ).

So now I do more in just chatting with fans and sometimes just chatting with ONE fan can lead to an avalanche of sign ups or requests. What I didn't know is that some fans have their own message boards or chat rooms and they can number in the tens of thousands of members! If they like your stuff they'll either sign up under one of your programs or send you neat stuff in the mail ( like concert tickets, coupons etc. ) or even computer parts.

That's why I like to work in trade alot. I can do a toon or design for a guy and he can trade me off a laptop or mp3 player or something and we're alllll good. Even rental car discounts!

This has been a fun business over the years and now that I'm back to being fit I am gonna triple my income and have fun doing it.

Any other new tips out there? I'm always looking for traffic trades with niche/targeted areas. Getting a billion hits a day and no one buying anything isn't good. Yet getting 100 hits and 100 signups is better
