I can't speak for KRL, but I suspect that the current hurricane season has made a big dent in his plans.

Yup. Totally.

I highly doubt it, and anyone with a brain can make their own judgement on that.

3) Is KRL a good guy?

It certainly appears so.

It's sad when people hate for the sake of hating, but it's also sad when people wake up and realize that the domain world is about 50/50 on reality and b.s. The pros know the difference and the rest of the gang backslaps and pays the price later.

You can't blame KRL for that--he just played by the rules.

Hate the game, don't hate the player.
I will bet you any amount of money that $1,320,000.00 was paid to Rick.

I will post more as soon as I'm back on my pc to all the idiotic other posts in this thread as well.

I'm going to take a wild stab at this and guess that KRL is doing better than 99.9% of the people who posted in this thread and therefore might be a little more on top on what to do and what not to do with men.com

KRL, you're in no way obligated to reply to some of the statements (some should definitely be ignored). But if you want to for the others that's great...everybody is curious about the 1.3 million dollar man (just look at how many times this thread has been viewed) and there's nothing wrong with that

I'm down in Ft Lauderdale having dinner.
Hopefully net access for our area will be restored this week so I can respond to the clueless clowns in this thread.

To the jew haters, you're pathetic.

To the haters like twisty and patrac I don't know why you always post antisemtic stuff. gfy obviously.

Everyone else needs to mind your own business.
This asset has already multiplied in value double what I paid and it hasn't even been a year yet. So suck on that LOL.

I turned down offers for even more than double in fact.

We have an inhouse team doing the development and for a print mag.

signing off. curfew starts in 1 hour.

To this moment though, men.com looks more like a landing page than the 'magazine' it implies to be. I haven't heard a word about commercials. There is no alexa ranking.

KRL, not to bash you, but what is happening with men.com?
None of your damn business.

Well, the interest and hype the sale generated really would not be imbedded in a normal surfers mind. The only good point to the sale, was that it left a lasting mark and impression on webmasters and domain buyers which will upkeep the value regardless of content.

Within the time the PRs were made to current date, most surfers would have already lost interest. Most, including myself only revisit a location X amount of times before saying -- "fuck this."
And who exactly are you?

Admit it KRL...

Men.com is not what you wanted it to be.

I not heard shit about that domain since it was sold.
WTF?

You need to take that bitch with print in mind and not from an Australians point of view. Take that fucker and get some publicity.

Your posting on a board who's owner could change the entire paradigm around.

AKA Playboy.

Playboy=Men.com

I turned down $5 Million if that makes you feel better.

So I know I could easily get double what I paid.

Interesting plans KRL.

What's the ballpark budget for something of this magnitude? I imagine the 1.3 million for the domain was just the tip of the iceburg if you really are going to launch a magazine and do tv ads for it.

Also of all the dating sites online what made you choose Iwantu as a partner?

Just curious, no need for you to answer.

An extra $4 million in less than a year. That's an even better return than Real Estate, LOL

To the trained professional, men.com's current state is worth less than a few thousand dollars tops.

Of course, KRL's intentions are to launch this venture amidst a wave of publicity and hype, have it go public, and cash out at the peak, as per usual Jewish tactics.......just remember, men.com will never amount to anything of value to humanity....it's just more jewish drivel used to exploit the unwitting goys who are dumb enough to invest/buy into the concept.
Go shine your schwastika collection.

Who are you anyway and what have I ever said to you to make such a fucking anti-semitc post?

Not very constructive Patrack...

This sort of shit takes time...
No one is brilliant enough to hit shit right on the mark everytime.

Yup. Totally.

2) Did $1.3 million really change hands?

I highly doubt it, and anyone with a brain can make their own judgement on that.

3) Is KRL a good guy?

It certainly appears so.

It's sad when people hate for the sake of hating, but it's also sad when people wake up and realize that the domain world is about 50/50 on reality and b.s. The pros know the difference and the rest of the gang backslaps and pays the price later.

You can't blame KRL for that--he just played by the rules.

Hate the game, don't hate the player.

Show me a domain that you have made 7 figures on DB?

Thank you for saying I'm a good guy at least, but as a professional which I'm sure you are why pull a post like this like the other haters?

Are you on Rick's board by the way?

If so, which I doubt, I don't think he would be happy to see you doubting the credibility like you've been doing on several threads now.
