Damn, got my first exploit exploited in Opera
Woke up with a trojan something thingy and checked where it came from...Opera cache. Something infected me while surfing yesterday.
Guess it will get worse from now on. Since more and more people are dropping IE and switching to other browsers the scum of the net will change with them. |

Doesn't matter what browser you use. The alternatives are becoming popular enough to make them attractive targets. Whatever browser you use you have to take proactive steps to protect. I've had XP on this machine about 2 1/2 years using IE and running ZoneAlarm and AVG. I consider myself an internet power user and I have not had a single infection. I don't know what's up with the people reporting getting infected numerous times.

mardigras only time i have had problems was when i installed service pack 2 but most people just don't use or update their AV thats the main culprit,,,
