I agree...that's a bullshit way to get traffic. There a a few companies using my name to make yahoo profiles in order to promote their website. Like this one.
It's dishonest.

A little free advice for you. Dont link to a sponsor in a profile. If you get termed, then you have to go back and change all of those. Link to your own page instead. Saves alot of work.
