a solution to at least ALLEVIATE this virus email bullshit

Many of you are recieving NUMEROUS emails from NUMEROUS addresses... with around 200 KB viruses attached.
If you notice almost all of these may contain the lines:
Hi! How are you?

I send you this file in order to have your advice

See you later. Thanks

.... Now, many email services offer certain blocking options - like trashing emails that contain certain phrases. I know at least with yahoo email you can automatically block mail that contains lines of which you specify. If your email service offers this (I would imagine many would if a free one like yahoo does) then you can cut down on alot of bullshit by doing this.

Just thought I would share and hope I'm helping

Most email clients, like Outlook Express, have this capability of blocking or deleting messages according to rules you specify. Just check the Help or browse the menus.

At the moment, our email server is set to delete any message larger than 100K. That pretty much stops the infected emails from downloading and mushing up my system. To date, I've received almost a thousand of these infected emails.

Of course, now, if anyone is writing to me in a letter of more than 100K....I'm not receiving it.

So, all around, this sucks.
