how long do your monitors last? it seems im replacing monitors every two years. how about you?

My last monitor lasted 7 years, then I sold it. Perfectly working. I've had this for 2 and no plans of getting another one.

my bad. i guess its 3 to 4 years. and the monitors are compaq brand. ive had 2 go this year. bought in 2000 and 2001.

i had a gateway ev900 that lasted 5 years. im now using the ev910 for the last two years with no problems. but i bought some compaqs for my reviewers and they dont seem to last as long. was just wondering what the average life span should be.

My 21" Sony Trinitron has been used for more than 10,000 hours and still works. Its a miracle. I will defenitely buy another Trinitron when this one dies.
