Hard Disk Recovery Services Near Toronto?

I had a laptop hard disk failure yesterday and was wondering if there's any chances of recovery of the data on it. Particularly in the Toronto or nearby area. From the looks of it, sounds like the needle is broken since I can hear it inside the disk casing. I have a backup up until last week so not that much data was lost. Either way, I'm still interested if I can get back my most recent work if its still possible. I have until Thursday to see if I can salvage the data until Dell sends a new hard disk so if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Charles contact a law firm.

I know it sounds crazy but most law firms have some sort of company they use for 'data recovery' especially in criminal cases

Regards,

Lee

it is possible, but your paying a shitload of money to get that info back - happened to one of my computers several months ago, total system failure - but had to trash the drive since it was running into the thousands of dollar range.

but any computer company or someone who fixes computers will have that available.

What price range are we looking at? A couple hundred or a couple grand? I don't mind a couple hundred since this will put me back about a week's worth of work. There's actually only 10 files I'm looking to recover, under 500kb worth of data. The rest I don't care about.

Really? How can someone make money from a search engine? I thought only Google could do that.
