Is it mail fraud if...
...I send a package to someone and they claim they never got it even if tracking information shows it was delivered?

The person who I sent the item to claimed they never got it and chargebacked the transaction.

I don't think legally its mail fraud on their part. But it's for sure dickheaded.
SO you have some type of proof they got your package? I wouldn't worry about it if I where you. I watch enough People's Court to know the law these days. LOL

I tried contacting Paypal since that's how the transaction was made - they dont help at all. It's not a huge amount. It just pisses me off that no one knows what the hell to do (usps, paypal, etc.)

Require the receiving party's signature from now on. I've even heard of requiring that only the person it's address to be allowed to sign for it.
