Pre-paid cards

Just checked out my e-mail and noticed an interesting story on the avn newsletter...

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Communications network DuoCash and IPSP iBill have a joint and exclusive marketing deal letting iBill merchants accept prepaid telephone cards as credit card alternatives.

rest of the article is here:

It's a cool product, I saw them at Internext. Looks like iBill invested big as they had quite a few people there.

There was a guy in Miami that was trying to start something like that about three years ago. It was called peepcards, or something like that.

One of the nice differences with Duocash-enabled cards is that they are accepted by ALL kinds of merchants, dating, ebooks, ringtones, music-downloads, etc..... so they aren't just a "pre-paid porno card".

And since we are enabling cards that are already being distributed by the pre-paid phone card companies, our distirbution is in the thousands of locations, and growing VERY fast.

Thanks Chandie, but actually, this one was closed by Rick Rubin at Duocash.....we are all a team over here.

But anyway.....I really think that this is going to work out VERY well for everybody. It's going to be a great partnership!

We are very excited about the partnership with DuoCash. They have a great product, fantastic distribution and an excellent staff. This will be a great alternative/annonymous billing option as well as micropayment solution.

Actually WTS - Ben, the cybertokens product has some major differences. As an e-wallet product, it still requires customers to perform online banking transactions.

With Duocash, the customers can purchase the cards in thousands of locations across the country (in about 6 weeks, it will be 10k locations nationwide), as well as from virtual online card distributors.

This means that:

1. The customers stay completely anoymous, and are never exposed to potential online fraud risks.

2. Since the transactions take place outside the banking interchange, then the problems with changing banking regulations won't apply to transactions through Duocash-enabled cards.

3. A cash transaction in a retail store means NO chargebacks. Even the transactions through online card distributors come through on the descriptors as pre-paid phone cards, and are therefore not subject to the chargeback problems ordinarily seen.

4. Almost a quarter of Americans, for example, don't have credit cards. They can walk into a store, and buy with cash.

Thanks Melissa! We are all really excited. With Ibill's focus and drive, and the way the Duocash system works so well, I think that this is going to work out GREAT!

This is really great technology. With duocash we will no longer get the support emails from wives saying "no one in my house signed up to your site...never, ever, ever would that happen! "

I have been around people trying to do this for awhile....

You need a big distributer to make serious cash.

Is there any regulation in the US about distributing these cards? Or is it a free market?

I have always like what the card offered and the members area is completely full.

It's a free market. As long as the buyers are adults.

A few small dealers there but nothing major. Our other product http://www.adulttriplexcard.com also has a couple of NJ dealers.

We need more in NJ so if you are interested hit me up on ICQ 137-202-998

Actually, Duocash enabled phone cards are already distributed in about 3000 locations in 12 or 13 states......in about 6 weeks cards will be enabled in over 10,000 locations, and they will be nationwide. We are probably 4 to 5 months away from having cards internationally

We also have several virtual phone card distributors that sell Duocash-enabled phone cards online as well

The difference between that kind of card, and a Duocash-enabled phone card, is that Duocash cards are accepted by all types of merchants, not just adult. We have sites accepting Duocash for ringtones, dating, music downloads, e-books, etc....

It acts as virtual cash on the internet
