This movie had alot to say in the way that if you want something , go out and get it. No matter what the odds

Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I'll have to disagree with you there. The fact that most people like crap does not take away from the fact that it is indeed crap... it just demonstrates that most people are imbeciles.

Formulaic, trite, spectacle/drama/feelgood movies are by definition not great movies. They can be very effective entertainment, but even considering the idea that they may be among the "best movies ever" is like believing Tom Clancy is the greatest author of all time.

As for the "best movie of all time", there isn't one. Every style has its masterpieces.

Poltergeist is up there, maybe not my all time favorite but man, this movie still creeps me out after years and years.

Close encouters of the 3rd kind, Raiders of the lost ark, Blazing Saddles, Original 3 star wars movies, etc.

Scarface. My all time favorite. But Irreversible is also a very good film. But I wouldn't eat anything during watching Irreversible. This is the sickest movie I've ever seen

I can't choose one as the "best", too tough a choice. Some favs of mine are

Glengarry Glen Ross
Repo Man
Spinal Tap
Brazil
Swimming to Cambodia
Fargo
Baby Snakes

Glengarry Glen Ross should be required viewing for anyone and everyone who works in marketing or sales. IMO, that movie has some of the best dialogue ever written. Actually, most of David Mamet's movies have damn good dialogue, probably a function of starting out as stage productions.

Anf if you like claymation, especially sick/twisted claymation, Baby Snakes is a MUST SEE - Bruce Bickford's clay work is pure genius.

Best movie would have to be Godfather, Streetcar, Casablanca, something in that vein with either Brando or Bogart.

I like the Kevin Smith DVDs in this order:

Clerks
Chasing Amy
Dogma
Mallrats
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
An Evening with Kevin Smith
Jersey Girl

Most of the other movies I like are all 80s B movies or indy flicks. I"m not big on hollywood hits.

Here are some of the more known ones though:

Dazed and Confused
Doomsday Generation
Kalifornia
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Kids
Another Day in Paradise
