the south has been long overdue for this.
hopefully those who stay behind are safe (as safe as these storms will let them be). mother nature is one bitch i wouldn't want to mess with. i saw an article the other day (wish i had read it now) where the title stated "can hurricanes be stopped by technology". my first thought was if there was a way to stop them, how would that effect weather globally? i don't think that would be a good idea. everything is balanced for a reason and that shift in the balance could be catastrophic. |
