I think speed dating is a poor concept- I agree that some people you can tell the second they open their mouth that you dislike them, but everyone puts up a front to some degree the first time you're meeting them.

I don't know if it was in a movie, or if I read it somewhere, but someone once said when you first meet someone, you aren't really meeting them, you're meeting their "representative". Does anyone remember where that's from?

Although I don't think I would do well at the speed dating thing, at least I got to write up a pretty decent resume and this web site seems to double as a dating site also, with the added bonus of the physical location where you get to meet in a safe environment..I think..

The more I think about it the more I'm pretty sure it's a movie, but it's totally true. The way I look at it you don't REALLY know somebody until you've lived with them, but as far as I'm concerned for me to go out somewhere one on one with someone, I want to be pretty sure they aren't a psychopath.

Hurry Date actually seems pretty cool... i read up on it and made an account.... seems like a good way to meet 25 women real quick, saves alot of time and bs. definitely going to go to one of the parties. i bet all 25 girls will be on my balls
