Lots of pets were displaced and made homeless from Hurricane Charley and Frances and were flown by volunteers up to Atlanta Shelters.

Please see my sig to help the Humae Society which handled the animal evacuations.

If you are in Atlanta, there are hundreds of dogs available for adoption.

My wife's grandmother lives just out side (Metarie) of NO and her aunt and uncle live on the north side of the lake (Poncitrane, did I spell that right??) in Sildelle.

I just got off the phone with a family member from Metairie, she said that the wind is already picking up over there....

I haven't been outside yet today, so I don't know how it feels here... But if she says they're picking up there, then they'll be picking up here soon if they haven't already started to...
